Brakes

Brake Services

For The Front

we change your pads and rotors. we also greese the slide pins on your caliper to keep it from freezing in the future and we greese the back part of the wheel stub to prevent the rotor from getting stuck for the next time its worked on after that we check your brake fluid and top it off

For The Rear

If you have rotors for the rear its the same procedure just a bit less room to work with but if you have drums we can either fix what's wrong with it like the springs or shoes depending on the situation or do a full drum brake service where we replace everything on the drum brake system

Right above is a image of a typical brake system

a brake system has a number of components it has the thing that everyone knows which is a brake pedal, it also has a master cylinder which holds the brake fluid and separate the lines for different calipers. calipers are what do the braking when you press the brake pedal and the calipers squeeze the brake pad onto the rotor. rotors are what the brake pad grips on to in order for the vehicle to stop the last and final main thing is the brake booter which creates the pressure in the system and keep it pressurized
